STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Troy Matthew Bohannon, 23, South Main Street — failure to maintain lane, third offense DUI, suspended license.
 
Incidents
    OAK STREET — Someone took an iPod debit cards and other items from a car.
    HOWARD JOHNSON’S — A man and woman argued over his receiving phone calls from other women. He struck her in the mouth with a TV remote and choked her, she said. He snatched the room phone away and took her cell phone when she tried calling for help. She escaped with her juvenile daughter and he fled. Police noted visible injuries.
    BOBBY DONALDSON AVENUE — A man said another man threw a brick at him, missed and broke a window.
    HAWTHORNE APARTMENTS — A woman reported the theft of an iPod, Wii and DVD movies.
    THE GRILL — Someone tried to break into the restaurant cooler.

Arrests
    Kerry James Oglesby, 50, Deer Run Road — altered tag, no insurance, unregistered vehicle.
 
Incidents
    DEER RUN ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman found a dead puppy in her mail box. The responding deputy questioned the mail carrier, who said he had seen the pup’s carcass in the mail box but did not report it due to his being behind schedule.
    THE BARBECUE PLACE — (Clito) A man said someone cut copper wires from his water pump but left the wire there, coiled up.
