Jeremy and Kimberly Aldrich of Metter announce the engagement of their daughter, Brianna Michelle Aldrich, to Lif Conner Mallard, son of Patrick Mallard and Lori Parnell Mallard of Statesboro.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mike and Margie Brumley of Portal and Brenda Aldrich and the late Jerry Aldrich of Metter. Brianna is a 2021 Honors of Excellence graduate of Metter High School. She graduated magna cum laude from Georgia Southern University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. During her time at Georgia Southern, she received several scholarships and honors, including the E.M. Bevis Spirit of Nursing Award, and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is currently employed with Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, as an intensive care unit nurse.

The future groom is the grandson of John and Patty Mallard of Statesboro, the late Rev. Sue McGhee Parnell of Alexander City, Alabama, and Jim Parnell of Oxford, Alabama. Lif is a 2019 graduate of Statesboro High School. He graduated cum laude from Georgia College & State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, where he served as a Student Ambassador. He is currently employed with the Bulloch County Board of Commissioners in the Finance Department.

Brianna and Lif will exchange vows and celebrate during a private ceremony and reception in June 2026 at The Copper Barn in Portal.
