Police report -7-9-17; Euthanized at animal shelter eight dogs and 19 cats

    Timothy J. Lunardi, 41, Metter — failure to comply with laws regarding sex offender registry.
    Charles Edward Meyers Jr., 44, Twin City — felony probation violation.
    Donald William Smith Jr., 32, Stillmore — felony probation violation.
    Dewie Jamar Donaldson, 39, Metter — suspended license.
    Dana Danielle Driggers, 23, Metter — DUI/marijuana, stop sign violation, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, speeding.
    Tekeria Marie Hunter, 27, Metter — false statements and writings or concealment of facts.
    Alejandro Cava Leon, 18, Metter — driving while unlicensed, speeding.

    COOL SPRINGS CHURCH ROAD — Deputies investigated an entering auto attempt as well as criminal trespass incident.
    INTERSTATE 16/EXIT 98 — Deputies responded to a reported armed robbery.
    CANOOCHEE ROAD — Residents reported two burglaries.
    INTERSTATE 16 — Someone reported theft of a vehicle.
    JOHNSON ROAD — Deputies responded to a theft report.
 
Metter Police Department
    SOUTH LEWIS STREET — Officers investigated property damage. Another person reported a forgery. In a third case, someone reported a shoplifting.
    BRANNEN ROAD — Someone reported an entering auto incident.
    SOUTH LEROY STREET — Officers responded to a reported shoplifting incident.
    EAST LILLIAN STREET — Someone reported a theft.
    CEDAR STREET — Police responded to two separate entering auto reports.
    SOUTHEAST BROAD STREET — A forgery incident was reported.
    FORTNER ROAD — Someone reported a vehicle stolen.
    PATTERSON ROAD — Police investigated an entering auto incident.
    ELLIS STREET — Police investigated an assault incident.
 
Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    Surrendered by citizens  —  10 dogs and  10 cats from rural areas; one dog and one cat from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by humane officers —  11 dogs and one cat from rural areas; four  dogs and one cat from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter  —  10 dogs and no  cats.
    Taken in by rescue organizations — six dogs and 11 cats.
    Reclaimed by owners — three dogs.
    Died at shelter — one dog and one cat.
    Euthanized — eight dogs (five with severe skin conditions, aggressive and/or space needed, two surrendered with aggression, one pup with parvo); and 19 cats (feral or ill).
