A woman said a package containing over $30 worth of makeup was delivered o her address, but someone later took it before she picked it up. She verified the package had indeed been delivered and needed a report for reimbursement claims.

▲ WOODLAKE TRAIL — A woman said a package containing over $30 worth of makeup was delivered o her address, but someone later took it before she picked it up. She verified the package had indeed been delivered and needed a report for reimbursement claims.

▲ BRANNEN HODGES ROAD — Deputies responded to a simple battery and suspicious incident. Details were not included in media releases.

▲ HENDRIX DELOACH ROAD — A man reported as suspicious was found to be wanted on a bench warrant from Effingham County. He was arrested.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ EAST JONES AVENUE — Police arrested a person for violation of a criminal trespass warning.

▲ SOLOMAN CIRCLE — A resident reported a damaged door.

▲ VAN BUREN/AIKEN STREETS — A man fled from police who stopped him for walking in the roadway, but officers later apprehended and arrested him.

▲ LANIER PLACE APARTMENTS — Officers responding to a reported domestic dispute stated the incident was a criminal trespass case.

▲ BELK — A woman was cited for shoplifting $97 worth of clothing. The items were recovered and she was issued a criminal trespass warning, meaning if she returns to the store she can be arrested.

▲ BERMUDA RUN APARTMENTS — Roommates argued over living arrangements and someone called police to intervene.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued four traffic citations and three warnings and assisted four motorists. Wednesday.

▲ LOT 42 — A person was arrested on charges of marijuana possession, having a false ID, carrying a concealed weapon without a license, possession of a firearm in a school safety zone, and obstruction.
