Police Report 9-4-11; A woman succumbed to scams and has lost possibly $25,000 after depositing fake

    ARRESTS
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Statesboro Police
    Timothy L. Stokes, 18, Watson Commons – possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana possession.
    Justice Bernard Evans, no street address listed, Statesboro - possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana possession.
    Zane Robert Jarvis, 18, Georgia Avenue - possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana possession.
    Maurice Chandler Stuckey, 27, Lanier Drive- second offense suspended license.
    Willie Obrien Bethea, 24, Whittington Street, Latta, SC – disorderly conduct, giving false information.

Brooklet Police Department
    Vincent Fernandez, 30, Lanier Drive- willfully obstructing or hindering law enforcement officer, unlawful use of license plate, suspended license (second offense), no driver license, and seatbelt violation.

    INCIDENTS

    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

    EAGLE GATE APARTMENTS – Police investigated a domestic dispute that reportedly turned physical. No arrests were made.

Bulloch Sheriff
    CYPRESS LAKE ROAD - A man reported several power tools stolen.
    OLD  REGISTER ROAD – (Statesboro) Someone broke in and disturbed several items, but too nothing.
    REEDY BRANCH ROAD – A woman succumbed to scams and has lost possibly $25,000 after depositing fake checks and sending cash to various locations.
    DOGWOOD COURT – (Statesboro) A juvenile was arrested after striking his parent during a discussion about curfew and money.

    Seatbelt- one citation.
    Speeding- 12 citations.
    Suspended license- one citation.
    Unlawful use of license plate-one citation.
    Willfully obstructing or hindering law enforcement- one citation.
