Statesboro Police Department
    SOUTH MAIN STREET — A woman involved in a dispute was arrested on criminal trespass and assault charges.

Georgia Southern University Police
    RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER PARKING — During a job fair, a man became irate, claiming a local business representative was rude to him. He sat on a table and yelled at the representative, who told police he did not wish to press charges but wanted to see the offender get help. The offender, not a student, was escorted to the Information/Technology building, where his father worked.
    GEORGIA AVENUE/ LANIER DRIVE — Officers stopped two men who were arguing and appeared intoxicated. One was a juvenile, who was referred to the Department of Juvenile Justice and later returned to relatives. The other man was sent home, with no arrests made.
    SHENANIGANS — A man outside the bar was stumbling and leaning against a power pole. Police discovered he was only 20, but he admitted he had been drinking Hennessy and Coke. He said someone inside the bar gave him the drinks. He was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
    CAMBRIDGE PALMS APARTMENTS — Officers saw a man trying to walk a parking lot divider line, as if he was testing whether or not he was sober. When they questioned him and he admitted to have been drinking, they told him not to drive. He was seen a short time afterward, driving, and officers stopped him.  He tried to put the car in park and struck a curb. He was arrested.
    Officers issued six traffic citations and seven traffic warnings, as well as assisted six motorists.
