Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    ROCKY FORD/PONDEROSA ROAD — An abandoned vehicle was towed after an owner could not be located.
    HOLY TABERNACLE OF DELIVERANCE/HIGHWAY 24 — A man said the mother of his child was hostile and threatened him, his wife and others present when she came to the church to confront him about visitation. He has sole custody of the child, he said. The woman also harasses him in public when she sees him, he told deputies.
    REEDY BRANCH ROAD — A woman told deputies her boyfriend threatened she would “suffer the consequences” if she did not move out of the home.
    CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK — A woman said she was walking when someone in a van dropped off her boyfriend Then, a woman in the van got out and “got in her face,” choking her and punching her in the jaw over a Facebook post she reportedly made and the offender did not like. The victim was given information on taking warrants through magistrate court.
    MEADOWBROOK WAY — A man and woman argued over his paycheck not being in the bank today, and over the man reportedly making a comment about the woman’s father hitting her when they were dating. The woman became angry and threw silverware on the floor.
    HAGIN LANE/HIGHWAY 80 WEST — A man riding an ATV on the roadway fled when a deputy tried to stop him. Other deputies came to assist the pursuing deputy, and when the man was apprehended, he was very nervous and kept placing his hand near his groin area. Upon further investigation, the suspect was found to have a glass pipe in his pocket with white residue. He was charged with possession of drug-related objects.

Statesboro Police Department
    SPLASH IN THE BORO — Two women argued over a parking spot and one said the other struck her in the neck. The accused woman said it was in self-defense. The dispute also involved a private property accident.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A person was arrested for shoplifting electronics accessories.
    Also, a man was arrested for shoplifting $170 worth of food and other items.
    WEST MAIN STREET — Police responded to a dispute that one woman said had become physical in nature.
    WOODLAND DRIVE — Officers responding to a report of shots fired found shell casings, but no one would tell them details of what happened. Non-residents of the location were served with criminal trespass warnings to stay away from the apartments.
    PACKINGHOUSE ROAD/EAST OLLIFF STREET — Warrants are to be obtained for the arrest of a driver who fled after a traffic stop attempt for seat belt violation.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued four traffic citations and eight traffic warnings and assisted no motorists.
