INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

HIGHWAY 67 - A store attendant's mistaken report of a gas drive-off led to a traffic stop in which a woman was arrested on a previous bench warrant issued by the Superior Court, a deputy reported. The driver's boyfriend had paid for the gas before she left, and the attendants were not aware, the deputy's report noted.
BENNETT GROOMS ROAD - A woman reported damage to a concrete fence, which the reporting deputy noted appeared to have been struck by a large vehicle.
BELL ROAD - A resident reported property damage that occurred while he was away from home. A vehicle had been driven through the yard and carport and struck one of the carport's brick columns, leaving some bright red metallic paint.
THOMAS VILLAGE - A burglary and theft-by-taking incident was reported Saturday.
BURKHALTER ROAD - A man who reportedly refused to pay a taxi driver for a ride was charged with theft of services and disorderly conduct.

Statesboro Police Department
LANIER DRIVE - An apartment complex resident reported $250 worth of what the police incident report states were "vehicle parts/accessories" stolen Friday. These were apparently tires, because there were four, color "black," and the maker was identified as Cooper.
VETERANS MEMORIAL PARKWAY/STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE - An officer who made a traffic stop reported he "could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage and green marijuana." He then reported finding some of the latter substance in the driver's possession and made an arrest.
NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST - A report Saturday of a man sitting in front of Buffalo Wild Wings asking for money led to the man's arrest on begging and drug-related objects charges.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued one traffic citation and one traffic warning and assisted two motorists.
SOUTHERN COURTYARD - A theft-by-taking report was turned over to the department's investigations division.
UNIVERSITY VILLAS - A fire report was turned over to the investigations division.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Last week, troopers investigated 12 crashes with five reported injuries and arrested two drivers on DUI charges in Bulloch County. Troopers also issued 27 citations and one warning for seatbelt violations and 32 citations and 43 warnings for speeding.
