INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

U.S. HIGHWAY 80 EAST - A woman reported that a friend of her family tricked her mother and stole 10 pills of the prescription drug Adderall. The complainants did not want to press charges but wanted the woman they alleged stole the pills to stay away from them, and a criminal trespass warning was issued.
U.S. HIGHWAY 80 WEST - A deputy responded to a report of two reckless drivers on Highway 80 near Middleground Road as a "racing on highways or streets" case, and one vehicle was towed.
HIGHTOWER ROAD - A man reported that he heard shots being fired behind his home that kept getting closer. He yelled at the people shooting, telling them they were too close to his residence, and when bullets started hitting things in his backyard, he called law enforcement, he told the deputy.
STANFORD DRIVE - A woman reported that her landlord grabbed her by her left arm, leaving it bruised, during an argument. The landlord and renter had previously been involved in civil action in Magistrate Court, and their dispute was because of roaches in the house and other problems, the renter told the deputy.
BAY GALL ROAD - A burglary was reported Sunday in which four firearms were stolen from a home where the back door was broken open. The residents had been away since Friday. No description of the firearms was given in the incident summary. A green Hitachi air compressor and a black plastic bin containing hand tools were also reported taken from an unsecured storage shed behind the home.

Statesboro Police Department
NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST - A juvenile suspect was detained Friday in a shoplifting case involving more than $500 worth of clothing items at Belk.
EAST MAIN STREET - A traffic stop Saturday night resulted in reported confiscation of crack cocaine, methamphetamine and other drugs, and the arrest of a man and a woman on multiple charges.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers assisted one motorist.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Last week, troopers investigated 15 crashes with 13 reported injuries and arrested four drivers on DUI charges. They also issued 10 citations and one warning for seatbelt violations and 11 citations and 16 warnings for speeding.
