    John Dewey Squires, 39, Greenville Street, Savannah — felony probation violation.

Statesboro Police Department
    Ruth Walker Beamon, 67, Old River Road, Brooklet — criminal trespass.
    Anna Kathryn Jackson, 21, Statesboro Place Circle — simple battery (family violence).
    Justin Thomas Branch, 21, Beard’s Bluff Road, Odum — discharge of firearms on or near a public street, reckless conduct, discharging firearms while under the influence, cocaine possession.

    Stanley Rendell Grant, 19, Southside Drive, Hiltonia — possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
    Mikaela Nicole Grissom, 18, Hollowbrook Drive, Riverdale — failure to maintain lane, possession of drug-related objects, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

    Michael Demetrius Hobbs, 31, Sinkhole Road — suspended license.
    Craig Dontell Humphries, 45, Hawkshaw Road — DUI, suspended license, open container.
    Leroy Singleton, 44, Thompson Street, Vidalia — open container, suspended license.

INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    BRANNEN/FRED BLITCH ROADS — A woman had to stop her car when it began smoking. It caught fire and Bulloch County firefighters responded to extinguish the blaze. The woman was slightly injured on the leg when she exited the car.

Statesboro Police Department
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A person was arrested for shoplifting $28 worth of clothing.
    In a separate incident, a woman who had been served with a criminal trespass warning for the store was arrested when she returned.
    FAIR ROAD/ZETTEROWER AVENUE — After a traffic stop, police realized the driver needed medical attention and called EMS. The driver was taken to the emergency room.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued no traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted one motorist.
