Arrests
    Joshua Deontez Lanier, 24, McKinnon Street — manufacturing marijuana.
    Willie Lee Parrish Jr., 61, Simmons Road — battery (family violence).
    Landon Randolph McCart, 23, First Down Court — disorderly conduct, obstruction, fleeing/attempt to elude, public intoxication.

Incidents
    WILLIAM JAMES MIDDLE SCHOOL — A student brought a pellet gun to school. Other students saw him remove it from his book bag and place it on safety. They reported the incident to school officials, who called deputies. The boy claimed he only had it because he was afraid of a dog that chased him while he waited on the school bus. He was arrested and returned to his parent’s custody.
