Police Report 5-23-13: A woman, set her pants on fire twice

     Robert Lee Mack, 28, Lester Road — probation violation.
     Jerrit Lavon Mincey, 23, Harvey Drive — simple battery.
     Cedric Renee Moore, 37, BJ Clifton Road — wanted person.
     Lavana Omega McCoy, 35, Lamsbridge Road, Twin City — seat belt violation, suspended license.
     Ashley Kay Noles, 23, Mount Olive Church Road, Fleming — wanted person.
     Johntasia Karismah Bacon, 21, Sandhill Lane, Sylvania — suspended license, headlight violation.
     Charles Adam Ross, 20, Merrywood Drive — DUI, driving without a license on person, headlight violation.

     JEWEL DRIVE — A man reported the theft of rods, reels and a bag of fishing tackle and lures.
     STILES INN — A man reported the theft of a white 1995 Saab convertible.
     UNIVERSITY VILLAGE AT SOUTHERN — A woman said a man choked her and shoved her, causing a bruise for which she sought medical attention at the hospital.
     UNIVERSITY POINTE — A man was arrested after admitting choking a woman during an argument.
     CARIBE COURT — A man called police to report being shot in the leg during a drug deal. Police collected a bag of suspected marijuana but made no arrests. The victim signed a termination of investigation form.

     Larry Williams Donaldson, 63, Cecil Martin Road — disorderly conduct.
     Chad Nathan Beasley, 19, Lake Church Road, Metter — probation violation.
     Brenton Bentley Garrick, 17, Colonial Court — theft by receiving stolen property.
     Virginia Lynn Minerly, 30, Pioneer Trail, Portal — disorderly conduct, obstruction.
     CECIL MARTIN ROAD — (Pembroke) Deputies responded to a home where two men were arguing. One appeared to be drinking; the other did not. Deputies, who have been to the same home repeatedly in the past for similar incidents, told the men to stop arguing and go to bed. The subject deputies said appeared to be intoxicated began cursing them and telling them they could not tell him what to do in his own house, and he was arrested. The other man begged deputies not to arrest the first, and also cursed them. He, too, was arrested.
     COUNTRY CLUB ROAD — (Statesboro) A man turned over to authorities a small cooler that appeared to hold items used to manufacture methamphetamine. He found it on his property, he said.
     PIONEER TRAIL — (Portal) A woman, set her pants on fire twice, prompting her mother to call deputies. When deputies arrived, the woman was sitting on the bed, holding a can of beer, with burned pant legs, rocking back and forth angrily, reports state. A deputy asked what happened and she told him she set her pants on fire twice, but denied wanting to hurt herself.
    When told to stand up because she was arrested, the woman threw herself on the floor, resisting arrest, screaming that she would not go to jail. She fought deputies, kicking at them, but was detained and taken to the hospital for evaluation before being jailed on disorderly conduct charges.

     Patrick Marcel McKever, 26, Hagan — criminal trespass.   

     Officers issued six traffic warnings and assisted three motorists Tuesday.
     HENDERSON LIBRARY — Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person who had been banned from campus.  He was arrested on criminal trespass charges.

     Bulloch County EMS — one accident call, two rescue calls and 20 medical calls.

     Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Tuesday: three calls to Bulloch County First Responders, a call to the Bulloch County Correctional Institute, a call to Air Evac, a call to Bulloch County Humane Enforcement and three miscellaneous calls.
