LANES CHURCH ROAD - A woman reported that a child had a scratch from a dog on her face after visiting her father and that she took the child to a hospital after the child's face started swelling.
WILLIAM JAMES MIDDLE SCHOOL - One juvenile student was reported to have threatened another.
OLD REGISTER ROAD - A man reported receiving unwelcome text messages from his estranged wife.
OLD LEEFIELD ROAD - Another man reported receiving unwelcome text messages from his ex-wife.
OLD RIVER ROAD SOUTH - A resident reported her shed was burglarized and that someone also disabled her truck's battery cables.
Statesboro Police Department
EAGLE VILLAS - A man reported someone damaged his moped in the parking lot.
Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued one traffic citation and three warnings and assisted one motorist.
Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Last week, troopers investigated 18 crashes with two reported fatalities and four injuries. Troopers also arrested three people for DUI and issued 10 citations and four warnings for seatbelt violations, three child restraint warnings, and 12 citations and 25 warnings for speeding.
