Police Report - 3-16-14; Euthanized at animal shelter last week - 10 dogs and seven cats

ARRESTS
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    Henry John Carter, 55, Hwy. 80, Brooklet — disorderly conduct, obstruction.
    Laquana Quashay Hurst, 28, Johnson Street — truancy.
 
INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.
 
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    HWY. 80 EAST — (Brooklet) Wednesday around 11:45 a.m., deputies responded to a domestic dispute where a man threatened another with a bat.
    LIVE OAK LOOP — (Ellabell) Wednesday around 8 a.m., a man told deputies a woman had been posting comments with his name on Facebook, and the comments resulted in harassing threats from unknown people.
 
Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of March 3-9.
    Surrendered by citizens — two dogs and six cats from rural county; two cats from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by officers — 11 dogs and one cat from rural county areas; 11 dogs and three cats from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — three dogs.
    Reclaimed by owners — seven dogs.
    Died at shelter — two dogs.
    Euthanized — 10 dogs and seven cats.
    Fees collected — $80.
