Statesboro Police Arrests

Jashon Lavon Thomas, 20, Sherwood Forest Drive, Walthourville – failure to appear.

Zul Mildan, 38, no address listed, Statesboro – driving without a valid license.

Cory Alan Black, 21, North Scotch Pines Avenue – open container, DUI.

Victoria Kelsey Gunnin, 20, Trickum Creek Road, Tyrone – DUI under 21.

Paul Carson Eddings, 21, S. Ocean Walk Drive, Atlantic Beach, Fla. – window tint violation, DUI.

Alexandria Alicia Baker, 22, Whitehawk Court, Lawrenceville – open container, second offense DUI (refused test).

Shawn Rich, 28, South Mulberry Street – driving with a suspended license.

Mary Faye Robinson, 39, Denmark Street – simple assault, disorderly conduct.

Cornelius Devar Rich, 28, Dry Branch Village, Register – probation violation.

Bulloch  Sheriff’s Arrests

James Edward Powell, 32, Roscoe Laircy Lane – probation violation.

Carnel Wilson, 51, Morris Street – driving with a suspended license.

Matthew Brandon McKelveen, 21, Ga. 24 – tinted window violation, marijuana possession.

 

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

Troopers issued the following citations Friday – Monday:

DUI arrests – none.

Seatbelt citations – four.

Child restraint citations – one.

Speeding citations – five.

 

Georgia Southern University Arrests

 Officers issued two traffic citations Friday, and one Monday.  
Marq Jauson Grant, 19, University Pines - theft by taking.

Statesboro Police Incidents

THE AVENUE AT SOUTHERN – Someone kicked a door in, but nothing was reported missing.

CINDY LANE – A man and his brother were in a domestic dispute over one’s marital affairs. One man was arrested on outstanding warrants.

CANCUN COURT – A woman reported a purse, iPod, iPod Monster, Blackberry and radar detector stolen from her car.

ZETTEROWER AVENUE – A door to a vacant apartment was forced open.

PARK PLACE APARTMENTS – A woman and her sister-in-law were involved in an argument.

FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS – A woman said several other females “jumped” her mother, who suffered visible injuries including swelling to the head and had difficulty staying awake. EMS took the woman to the hospital.

BUDGET INN – A woman threatened to damage a man’s vehicle during an argument.

PARK PLACE APARTMENTS – Someone kicked in a door and stole a TV.

NASSAU DRIVE – Someone stole a wallet from a car.

MORRIS STREET – A man said he argued with two men who stopped him on the street, and one pointed a gun at him.

CHELSEA DRIVE – A GPS unit was stolen from a car.

JOHNSON STREET – A woman threatened a man with a knife when he argued with her son.

CAMPUS CLUB APARTMENTS – Three men were seen around a vehicle, and one was charged with damaging it.

STADIUM WALK APARTMENTS – A blue 2006 Chrysler Pacifica was stolen.

WINDSOR WAY – A GPS unit and cell phone charger were reported stolen after someone found where three vehicles had been entered by unknown persons.

 

Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents

U.S. 301 NORTH – (Statesboro) A man reported finding out someone used his identity when filing taxes.

 BRENA ROAD – (Statesboro) A man said he was walking a dog when a neighbor dog escaped its pen and attacked the dog he was walking.

WREN LANE – (Statesboro) A man grabbed his wife around the neck and pushed her during an argument over where she had been and a cell phone conversation. She was holding a one-year-old during the argument and when she tried calling 911 he broke her cell phone. Their seven-year-old tried to get his father away from his mother, and the man left.

CHANCES MOBILE HOME PARK – (Clito) A man said his ex-girlfriend came to his house uninvited and flattened two of his tires.

 

Georgia Southern University Incidents

FRIDAY - Officers issued two traffic warnings, assisted three motorists and responded to one alarm.
SATURDAY - Officers responded to two alarms.
SUNDAY - Officers issued one traffic warning and assisted one motorist.
 MONDAY - Officers issued four traffic warnings, assisted two motorists and responded to one alarm.
SOUTHERN COURTYARD – Someone made a drug complaint.

EAGLE VILLAGE – Someone cut vehicle tires.

CENTENNIAL PLACE - A drug complaint was issued.

RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER – Someone reported a wallet stolen.
