INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police Department

WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A person was arrested for shoplifting a jacket priced around $28 and a pair of pants valued at around $24.
    Another woman placed $136 worth of clothes, a $16 bracelet and $3 worth of hygiene product in a book bag and left without paying. She, too, was arrested.
BELK - A man concealed two hats valued at $65 each in his bag and tried leaving without paying. He was arrested.
MAIN STREET BAR & GRILL - A man who was unruly resisted attempts to escort him to his hotel room and urinated in public. He was arrested.
EDGEWOOD DRIVE - A man told police someone unknown to him damaged or stole two golf clubs, a speaker, a laptop computer, three TVs, a glass basketball case and signed basketball, closet doors and metal art.
UNIVERSITY PLAZA - Two men were arrested for acting violently toward each other.
LESTER ROAD - A woman showed visible injuries after an argument with her husband, who she said choked her.
GRADY JOHNSON ROAD - A woman said her boyfriend shattered a glass door, beat her on her face and head with his fists, then stole her driver's license and $1,400 cash before leaving.
HIGHWAY 67 - Police investigated an aggravated assault involving a gun, but reports gave no details of the incident.
MADISON MEADOWS - A woman said she engaged in a physical fight with her child's grandmother.
THE HAMPTONS - Someone reported the theft of several medications.
PINEWOOD DRIVE - A man was charged with battery after physically attacking a victim, causing facial injury.
STADIUM VIEW - Someone reported that two men tried to enter the complainant's residence.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
CAMBRIDGE ROAD - A woman said a man she employed to collect rent has taken in $2,387.50 since September but has not turned the money over to her.
OGLESBY POND LANE - A woman said her dog escaped from its cable and ran toward a neighbor's property. Her son ran to get the dog, but the neighbor fired a gun in the direction of her dog and son. The man claimed he had already spoken with Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, feared for his life and fired into the air.
RUSHING ROAD - A man who threw a wrench through as door widow and entered someone else's house to get his son was arrested on charges of battery and criminal trespass. He reportedly pushed the child's grandmother, causing bruising.
IRONGATE SUBDIVISION/COUNTRY CLUB ROAD - A woman was arrested after deputies arrived at her home and found several underage persons drinking. They also smelled the odor of burning marijuana. The woman said the party was for her daughter and that there were only supposed to be 20 of her friends present. She was charged with 10 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
TOUCHDOWN DRIVE - A deputy was patrolling in the area when he heard gunshots. Upon investigating, he found two men firing guns off a porch at a makeshift target. They were both arrested for firing guns under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
BOWEN ROAD/LAKE COLLINS SPILLWAY - A man said someone entered his unlocked truck while he was fishing and stole a rifle. He said he learned that someone living in the area took the rifle and that he would not press charges if it were returned.
CHERRYWOOD DRIVE - A man was talking on the phone with his soon-to-be ex-wife when the woman's son threatened to burn down his house.
POJO'S/HIGHWAY 80 EAST - A woman said a man inside the store kept asking her name and, when told by someone else to leave her alone, threatened that he had a gun and would show it if the defender went outside. Then, he went outside and began looking inside the woman's car. When a couple arrived and went inside the store, the man started looking in their car as well before leaving the business.
CLYDE'S MARKET/HIGHWAY 301 NORTH - Deputies investigated an armed robbery in which a man with a gun robbed a clerk of $330 cash and fled on foot. K-9 tracking units could not locate the offender. Statesboro police assisted in the response.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued eight traffic citations and six traffic warnings and assisted four motorists.
