Incidents
    WAL-MART — A woman was arrested around 6:30 p.m. Nov. 6 for shoplifting a protective window cling for a car, a baby outfit and some Boudreaux’s Butt Paste.
    In a separate incident around 2 p.m. Sunday, a store employee was arrested for pretending to ring up items in a self-checkout station, but leaving without paying for items.
    PAWN CITY #5 — (Northside Drive East) Police assisted the Statesboro Fire Department around 9:10 a.m. Tuesday with an investigation into a possible arson incident. Reports had no additional details about the fire.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests
    Autumn Lindley Minnicks, 26, Indian Trail, Pembroke — discharging a firearm while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
    Leroy Barrs III, 42, Old Lewisville Road, Newington — suspended license, suspended registration.

Incidents
    INDIAN TRAIL — (Pembroke) Deputies responded around 4 p.m. Tuesday to the report of a woman threatening to harm herself. She sent a text and photo of a pistol to a man and indicated she was going to “end it all.” Deputies located the woman, who had fired a shot but was uninjured, reports state.
    BROOKS POND HOUSE — (Statesboro) A man called deputies around 7 p.m. Tuesday after finding two men trespassing. One man was arrested on outstanding warrants. Both offenders claimed they had permission from a previous owner to fish, but the current owner said he did not give them permission.

    David Stewart Briggs, 19, Georgia Avenue — possession of a weapon in a school-safety zone, possession of drug paraphernalia.
    Joseph Charles Fruscione, 18, Georgia Avenue — possession of a controlled substance, failure to have an original container for a prescription drug.
    Bryan Edward Murphy, 19, Georgia Avenue — possession of a false or altered document, possession/use of a drug-related object.
    David Ian Ralston, 19, Lakeside Trace, Canton, Ga. — underage possession of alcohol, wanted person, disorderly or indecent conduct, possession/use of a drug-related object.
    Brandon Walter Scott, 19, Statesboro Place Circle — possession of a false ID, underage possession of alcohol.
    Joshua Aaron Rudolph, 19, Chandler Road — underage possession of alcohol, possession/use of a drug-related object.

Incidents
    Officers issued three traffic warnings and assisted four motorists Tuesday.
    EAGLE VILLAGE — Officers responded around 11 p.m. Nov. 6 to a party complaint and knocked on a door. Someone opened it, slammed it shut and yelled, “It’s a cop!”  Shortly afterward, someone let police in, and they found several people hiding throughout the apartment. There were several empty bottles of alcohol and one partially empty bottle found hidden under a sink. Several were judicially referred to university officials for punishment for alcohol violations, but no one was arrested.
    In a separate incident occurring around 10:45 p.m. Monday officers investigating the smell of marijuana found a pill, a machete and drug paraphernalia. Two men were arrested.
    SOUTHERN PINES — Officers saw a man running from an apartment around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. They stopped him and found he had a false ID card. After questioning several others in the apartment and finding contraband including alcohol, several were judicially referred to university officials for alcohol violations but were not arrested.
    SOUTHERN COURTYARD — Two women were arrested around 12:30 a.m. Sunday for underage alcohol possession and were also judicially referred to university officials for punishment.
    UNIVERSITY PLAZA — Police saw a man stumbling, appearing to be drunk, around 1 a.m. Saturday. After they arrested him for underage possession of alcohol and possession of a false ID, the man kept saying, “Trent, wake up.” When officers asked him who Trent was, he said, “The guy you are locking up.”

    Lucas Eugene Guimont, 29, Foxbury Square, Pooler — DUI, open container, reckless striving, fleeing/attempt to elude, seat-belt violation, failure to maintain lane, following too closely, hit and run.
    Ryan Keith Nelson, 18, no street address given, Atlanta — DUI.
    Nicholas James Martucci, 26, no street address given, Statesboro — DUI, speeding, seat-belt violation.
    Santiago Sanchez-Tenoshua, 22, South Zetterower Avenue — DUI, obstruction, failure to yield, hit and run, driving on the wrong side of the road, seat-belt violation.
    Connie Edwards, 50, Jones Street, Metter — DUI, failure to maintain lane, driving while unlicensed.
    Celeste Durden Haley, 30, Wheeler Road, Kite — DUI, driving without license on person.
 
Incidents
    Troopers issued five seat-belt citations, seven speeding citations and a total of 60 citations.
    Troopers also issued one seat-belt warning, 23 speeding warnings, and a total of 60 warnings; and investigated 44 crashes with eight reported injuries.
