TURNER ROAD – After a call about someone night hunting, deputies responded and assisted the Department of Natural Resources in arresting three men for killing deer at night.

RUSGING ROAD – Deputies responded to a reported aggravated assault. The case is being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Division.

AYCOCK/BLACK CREEK CHURCH ROADS – A man reported the theft of a piece of farm equipment from his field.

CLITO ROAD – While deputies approached a woman with a warrant for her arrest, she told them a man had “implanted a tool in her genitals and it was causing her to vibrate.” The woman was charged with wanted person for failure to appear in court.


Statesboro Police Department

LANIER DRIVE – While responding to a fight call, police recovered unspecified contraband and arrested a wanted person.

ROBINHOOD TRAIL - A man was arrested on public intoxication charges after being found staggering across someone’s yard.

MYRTLE CROSSING LANE – Officers met with a couple who had engaged in a domestic dispute.


Georgia Southern University Police

Officers issued one traffic citation, six traffic warnings and assisted three motorists M

SOUTHERN PINES –Officers responded to a reported rape and arrested a man. The case remains under investigation. Additional information will be published upon receipt.

FREEDOM’S LANDING – Someone reported a verbal altercation.
