▲ BURKHALTER MOBILE HOME PARK – A woman told deputies she went to the public library after engaging in a physical fight with a man, who punched her in the nose and lip and choked her. She said she thought he was going to kill her. At the library he tried to have sex with her, but she escaped, she said.  Since the assaults took place in the city, deputies told the woman to file a report with Statesboro police.
