Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    UNION CHURCH ROAD AT NEVILS-DAISY ROAD — Firefighters as well as a deputy responded to a vehicle fire. The fire was extinguished and the vehicle towed.
    TOBACCO ROAD — A representative of King Timber told a deputy that a tree the company cut fell on two Georgia Power lines, breaking them.
    MARIA SORRELL ROAD — A homeless woman reported that three people have been harassing her on Facebook.
    BRANNEN DRIVE — A resident reported that she was out walking her dog when she observed a woman opening the resident’s mailbox. The woman said she worked for a company — but did not say what company — and was trying to see if the home was vacant. The mailbox’s contents had not been tampered with, the deputy reported.

Statesboro Police Department
    TILLMAN ROAD AT SOUTH MAIN STREET — A report of a strong-arm robbery (not involving a weapon) was logged at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, but no incident report was available on the SPD website.
    LANIER DRIVE — A handgun valued at $350 was reported as found property and held as evidence by police.
    SOUTH MAIN STREET — A woman reported that her boyfriend hit her in the face with his fist.
    JOHNSON STREET — A woman reported that someone kicked open a back door, then got into her vehicle and attempted to hit her with it.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued one traffic citation and no warnings and assisted two motorists.
    VARIOUS LOCATIONS — Complaints of drug activity at Kennedy Hall and Southern Courtyard resulted in “judicial referral.”
    CENTENNIAL PLACE AND EAGLE WALK APARTMENTS — Officers investigated complaints of suspicious persons or activities.
