    Troopers issued   the following traffic violation citations :Wednesday – 35; Thursday – 28; Friday – none; Saturday —  18; Sunday – 23.

Statesboro Police Incidents
    BELK – A man was charged with shoplifting a shirt, jeans and a $695 coat.
    GARDEN DISTRICT – A TV was stolen from an apartment.
    WAL—MART – Two women were arrested for shoplifting clothes and cosmetics.
    In a separate incident a 15-year-old said his girlfriend’s brother threatened him if he did not stop seeing the girl.
    PARK PLACE APARTMENTS – Officers responded to a domestic disturbance.
    HUDDLE HOUSE – A man was found passed out in the bathroom and charged with public intoxication.
    SANDY HILL APARTMENTS – A man reported the theft of a wallet, phone and $40. He said someone kicked in his door.
    THE LODGE APARTMENTS – A man struck a woman in the head with a beer bottle and his fist, causing a laceration. He was charged with aggravated assault.
    HUSH MUFFLER  — Someone broke into a car and took motor oil, a hammer, jumper cables and a funnel.
    LEE’S RESTAURANT – Someone ripped a door off the hinges.
    DEBBIE DRIVE – A woman said someone called her mother and sent a harassing letter.
    STADIUM WALK  — A TV and Wii were reported stolen.
    THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN – A man reported the theft of clothes, hats, a TV and Xbox 360.
    MADISON MEADOWS – A woman said her ex—boyfriend broke in and took rings, a DVD player and Playstation. She found pawn tickets for all four items.
    CLAIRE’S BOUTIQUE – A juvenile girl stole a ring.
    BLAKEWOODS APARTMENTS – A woman reported the theft of a TV, Xbox and other items.
    GEORGIA VILLAS – A man hit a woman in the face and head, then chased her and snatched her phone when she tried calling 911.
    WILOW BEND APARTMENTS – A woman said an unknown female knocked, asked to see a man inside the home, slapped his face and left.
    GARY’S FOOD MART – A woman said another woman with whom she has an ongoing dispute drove up and yelled at her. Then, a younger woman got out of the car and slapped the complainant.
