Online reports from this department listed several arrests and accidents but no incident reports on Monday.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
VALERO/GROVE LAKES - A woman prepaid for gas with a $10 bill, but the pump stopped after pumping less than half of what she paid. Due to a language barrier, the woman had difficulty conversing with the clerk but eventually was reimbursed $5 and change. She tried to get the clerk to call the Sheriff's Office, but the clerk refused. However, afterward, the store employees called her three times, demanding she bring the money back, she said.
SHERIFF'S OFFICE - Deputies received a call about a person living in Bulloch County that is believed to be a child abduction victim from Phoenix, Arizona. The Phoenix police department asked for the BCSO's aid in obtaining a DNA sample from the suspected victim.
PRETORIA RUSHING ROAD - A man paid $2,825 for a full load of pine straw to be loaded onto his trailer. When he arrived to pick it up, the trailer only had about 20 percent of the straw loaded, and the business owner has refused to call him back or answer calls about the matter, he said.
CEDARLAWN ROAD - A man told deputies that another man struck him several times, causing visible injuries that were treated at the hospital. The argument was over the victim not going to school. A witness said he had to pull the offender off the victim. The offender admitted that he "snapped" and assaulted he victim and willingly gave himself up for arrest.
WOODRUM PLACE - A woman said her ex-husband used an obsolete joint email account to access her Facebook account and posted nude pictures of her on her page. He also threatened to send nude photos of her to her boss, she said.
LANDINGS PARKWAY - Several female roommates reported that their home was entered by someone who removed an air conditioning unit from a window. Only a jar of change was reported missing.
BOOSTER BOULEVARD - A man reported being elbowed in the nose, then kicked in the face when he was talking to a man he had asked to leave a gathering at his home.
ZIP N GASCO/HIGHWAY 67 - Deputies investigated a burglary at the store.
ELDORA ROAD - An intoxicated man was arrested after a physical brawl that left two others with visible injuries.
MARIA SORRELL ROAD - A man reported the theft of a chain saw, two boat motors and tools from a shed. He listed a neighbor's son as a suspect, as well as family members with whom he had been feuding.
AKINS POND ROAD -A man said someone rearranged solar lights in his yard and loosened his vehicle's gas cap.
BURKHALTER ROAD - A woman was arrested for instigating a physical fight with a man about financial security and how their child was being raised.
HIGHWAY 46 - A woman complained that someone shot her mailbox and Statesboro Herald newspaper box with a shotgun.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued one traffic citation and six traffic warnings and assisted seven motorists.
