INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police Department
UNIVERSITY PLACE - A man, intoxicated and standing in front of his home, yelling at his landlord, was arrested on disorderly conduct charges.
GEORGIA AVENUE/CHANDLER ROAD - A woman told police another female touched her face, then grabbed her and shoved the back of her head. The offender was not found, and the victim was not able to identify her.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A man and woman were arrested for shoplifting 12 items of clothing with a total value of $139.
In a separate incident, a woman was arrested for shoplifting about $60 worth of merchandise. The items were not specified in reports.
AKINS BOULEVARD/VETERAN'S MEMORIAL PARKWAY - A woman scratched her boyfriend's face and neck during a verbal argument over infidelity. She was not arrested, but the man was given advice on seeking warrants.
BELK - A man shoplifted $60 worth of clothes and was arrested.
ACORN LANE - A woman reported things had been moved in her home, but she said nothing was taken.
LANIER DRIVE - Officers responded to a domestic dispute. When one woman arrived home, another female was angry and started yelling and pushed the first woman. The victim told police she "got on top" of the offender and held her down until police arrived.
