A woman said her boyfriend became irate, threatened to harm an animal and brandished a knife. Neither the animal or any people were injured and no one was arrested.

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ FOXBORO LANE — A woman was given information about Safe Haven (a safe house for domestic violence victims) after deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute between the woman and her husband.

▲ C. BROWN ROAD — Deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute that was verbal in nature.

▲ BONNETT ROAD — A woman reported a theft, but was “unable to give a consistent story” about what had transpired.

▲ HONEY DEW LANE — A woman said an unknown man knocked on her door, said he owned property behind hers, and began harassing her.

▲ HIGHWAY 80 EAST/ELLIS ROAD — A man walking in and out of traffic was arrested on public intoxication charges.

▲ PINE INN ESTATES — A man was arrested after a woman said he grabbed her juvenile daughter by the head and pulled her hair.

In a separate incident, a man was charged with criminal trespass, stalking and public intoxication after a deputy discovered he had been served with a previous criminal trespass warning.

▲ PLEASANT AVENUE — Two people fought physically during an argument about talking a child to school. When deputies located an offender, who had left the scene, he abandoned his car and fled. Deputies spoke with other occupants of the car and advised the victim about warrant procedures.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A woman said her boyfriend became irate, threatened to harm an animal and brandished a knife. Neither the animal or any people were injured and no one was arrested.

In a separate call, someone was arrested on criminal trespass charges.

▲ WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — Management called police about a person who had been served with a criminal trespass warning, but came into the store anyway.

▲ STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE — An intoxicated man challenged an officer to arrest him, cursed the officer and brandished a pen menacingly. He was arrested.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted one motorist Monday. 

▲ LANDSCAPE CUSTODIAL SERVICES — Someone reported a theft.
