▲ CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute between a man and woman over the man accusing her of texting other men.

The same couple were engaged in an altercation at Old River and Lakeview roads, where the woman said the man struck her vehicle with his and snatched her door handle off.

▲ COURTNEY WAY — A man reported the theft of a package from his property.

▲ WESTBROOKE DRIVE — A man reported the theft of a Thomas Disposal Service trash can.

▲ COWBOY WAY — A man and woman were arrested on theft charges after someone reported a pistol missing.

▲ MARTIN SWINSON ROAD — An unknown caller told deputies a man had been stabbed at a residence and was taken to a Savannah hospital. Investigators spoke with a man who said his son had come over and punched him, then came at him with a shovel. The man said his son “cut his back on some briars” instead of being stabbed. The case is being investigated.

▲ LANIER PLACE APARTMENTS — A woman was arrested on charges of striking her sister, who is pregnant.

▲ WOODLAND DRIVE — An officer on walking patrol arrested four on drug and paraphernalia charges, including one arrest for possession of Ecstasy (MDMA) with intent to distribute.

▲ NORTH MAIN STREET — A person was arrested for participation in a physical domestic disturbance.

▲ DOLLAR GENERAL/FAIR ROAD — A shoplifting suspect was made to pay for items stolen (total value, $3.50) and issued a citation for the offense.

▲ EAST JONES AVENUE — A man and wife argued over personal matters, and someone called police.

In a separate call an offender was arrested after a domestic dispute turned physical.

▲ PACKINGHOUSE ROAD — A man was arrested on simple battery charges after being engaged in a domestic dispute.

▲ BELK — Shoplifting suspects took $50 worth of clothing and were not stopped, but employees provided a tag number for the vehicle in which they left.

▲ TRACE VILLAS — Someone reported a physical domestic dispute. The complainant was given advice on taking warrants.

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted one motorist.
