    James Douglas Daniell, 42, Town Park Drive, Rincon — DUI (refused test), speeding, open container. 

INCIDENTS
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Wednesday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Metter Police Department
    LEROY STREET — Police made an arrest for marijuana possession.
    CEDAR STREET — Officers investigated a complaint of criminal trespass.
    MLK STREET — Someone reported a simple battery incident.
    FORTNER ROAD — Officers were called to the scene regarding a disorderly conduct incident.

Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of July 18-24
    Surrendered by citizens — three dogs and seven cats from rural county; no dogs or cats from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by officers — nine dogs and a cat from rural county areas; one cat and one dog from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — three dogs and six cats.
    Reclaimed by owners — two dogs.
    Died at shelter — one dog.
    Euthanized —16 dogs and six cats.
    Fees collected — $370.

    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of July 25-31
    Surrendered by citizens — one dog and eight cats from rural county; four dogs and four cats from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by officers — five dogs and nine cats from rural county areas; five dogs and five cats from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — four dogs and three cats.
    Reclaimed by owners — four dogs.
    Died at shelter — one cat and one dog.
    Euthanized — three dogs and 13 cats.
    Fees collected — $595.
