Police report - 8-7-15; A woman said her son flipped her chair over, tossing her off the porch.

    Linda Theresa Bunton, 50, Lucas Drive, Savannah — theft by shoplifting, criminal trespass.
    Derrick Deshawn Johnson, 30, Butler Homes — simple battery.
    Eddie Lee Smith, 58, Railroad Bed Road, Brooklet — no proof of insurance, leaving the scene of an accident (hit and run), suspended license.
 
Incidents
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER —A woman was arrested for shoplifting Great Value brand coffee, $50 worth of clothing, and $87 worth of miscellaneous items. She had been served with a criminal trespass warning previously, and was not supposed to be in the store, so she was charged with criminal trespass as well.
    BUTLER HOMES — A woman said her son flipped her chair over, tossing her off the porch, because she wouldn’t give him the keys to her vehicle. He was arrested.
    PINELAND MENTAL HEALTH/NORTH COLLEGE STREET — A man told police his ex-wife and two of her friends laughed at him when he fell off the handicapped ramp. She also threatened to harm him, he said.
    PRESTON DRIVE — A woman reported someone is harassing her by phone, as well as ringing her doorbell and fleeing.
    ZETTEROWER ROAD — A woman said her husband broke her cell phone and then put her brother in a headlock, fighting him. The man was not at the scene when police arrived.
    SOUTHERN DOWNS APARTMENTS — A woman said a man grabbed her, slammed her head against a wall and choked her. He was gone when police arrived, but warrants will be sought, reports stated.

    Patrick Neal Morris, 34, Perry Road, Bloomingdale — simple battery.
    Jeremy Andrew Smith, 36, Steve Bulloch Road, Pembroke — expired registration, no insurance, suspended license.
    Richard Joshua Rogers, 29, Stambuk Lane — suspended license.
    Justin Smith, 31, Rock Point Road, Portal — terroristic threats and acts.
 
Incidents
    BENNETT LANE — A woman told deputies her ex-husband calls, texts and comes to her house in spite of her not wanting to have contact with him.
    HAZLEWOOD DRIVE — A woman said a man solicited her for roof replacement, claiming he has eight children and needed to make a living. She allowed him to replace the roof, paying him more than he asked, and gave him her personal information. The man has been withdrawing money from her account and opening other business accounts in her name, she said.
    ANDERSON PARRISH LANE — A woman said her ex-husband called both her jobs, as well as the Georgia Board of Nurses, claiming she uses cocaine regularly and needs drug testing.
    HWY. 46 — A woman reported the theft of items — a blue Trident gas generator and a power washer — from a storage building behind her home. Tire and drag marks were left behind and the case has been turned over to investigators.
    CLIPONREKA ROAD — A woman said another female whom she allowed to stay with her a short time started wearing her clothes without permission. She demanded the other woman leave, but the offender claimed she felt like she was having a stroke and didn’t have anywhere to go. She was taken to the hospital.
    CODY LANE — A man said he was struck in the back of the head by an unknown subject with an unknown object, causing a laceration.

    Kenneth Leon Grant Jr., 31, Knight Drive — second offense suspended license, giving false identification to law enforcement, headlights violation.
    Christopher Allen Frederick, 21, Lanier Drive — obstruction, stop sign violation, DUI.
    Officers issued five traffic violations.
 
Incidents
    Officers issued no traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.
