Arrests
    Cari Ellen Rigdon, 22, Black Creek Church Road, Pembroke — possession of marijuana.
    Cesar Beltran Cifuentas, 30, Cody Lane, Statesboro — driving while unlicensed or expired license, failure to maintain lane.
    Kelton Phipps, 37, Cromley Road — suspended license, speeding, fleeing or attempting to elude officers, following too closely.

Citations Issued (July 25 – July 31)
    Seat belt violations — five.
    No driver’s license on person — one.
    Tinted windows — one.
    Open Container — one.
    Failure to maintain lane — one.
    Following too closely — one.
    Speeding — two.

Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of July 22-28:
    Surrendered by citizens — one dog and 37 cats from rural county areas.
    Collected by officers — 14 dogs and eight cats from rural county areas; six dogs and four cats from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — seven dogs.
    Reclaimed by owners — two dogs and two cats.
    Died at shelter — four cats.
    Euthanized — 26 dogs and two cats.
    Fees collected — $518.50.
