INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police Department
    PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — A resident reported that an old neighbor and his friend came to their home and threw a rock at her son, causing a laceration on his elbow, then hit him over the head with a chair. EMS was dispatched and checked the victim, but did not transport.
    STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — The resource officer arrested an 18-year-old woman on charges of fighting and disrupting a public school.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    STILSON ROAD — A man reported he hear a loud blast and went outside but did not see anything. He later discovered that his mailbox and four others mounted on the same post had been shot with a shotgun. He found a 12-gauge shotgun shell near the mailboxes.
    PAMELA WAY — A woman stated that her school-age son’s iPod was stolen from his backpack when it was left sitting on the fence line behind their home. Her son identified another boy as having taken it, leading to discussions between mothers and deputy for return of the iPod, and the mother of the second boy stating that he had found it on the ground, not stolen it. After the device was returned with a broken screen, the deputy was looking for the second boy on theft and criminal trespass charges.
    IVANHOE JUNCTION ROAD — A woman reported she drove  off from her home with her wallet on top of her vehicle, but knows someone found the wallet because a credit card company contacted her  about one of her cards being used and declined.
    ROBERTS ROAD — A 1996 Cobra Sunrise 1661 travel trailer, white and blue with an air-conditioning unit on top and white spoked wheels, was reported stolen.
    MUD ROAD — A man reported that while he was away at work, someone broke a window to get in and burglarized his home. Among the items reported missing were a safe containing personal belongings but little of value, a Ruger 10/22 rifle, a Winchester 20-gauge pump shotgun and a Red Ryder BB gun.
    KING ARTHUR DRIVE — A cab driver reported that a customer had yelled obscenities out the window at occupants of another vehicle who then followed them and got  into  a fight  with her customer, who refused  to pay for the  ride and was throwing trash at the cab. The sheriff’s investigator found driver and customer still on the scene. The customer agreed to pay his cab fare.
    SPRING CREEK DRIVE — After a woman’s black pet pig didn’t show up when she went to feed it, she found it dead down the road. She thought it had been shot, and after observing the wounds, the reporting deputy agreed. The report was filed as an animal cruelty case.
