SOUTH LEROY STREET — A complainant reported a burglary.
METTER FARM MARKET — Police investigated an automobile break-in.
SOUTHEAST BROAD STREET — Officers responded to a shoplifting incident.
STONEBRIDGE APARTMENTS — Someone reported a simple assault incident.

The shelter reported the following activity during the week of: Aug. 3-9
Surrendered by citizens — five dogs and 12 cats from rural county; three dogs and eight cat from City of Statesboro.
Collected by officers — eight dogs and two cats from rural county areas; eight dogs and two cats from City of Statesboro.
Adopted from shelter — eight dogs and three cats.
Reclaimed by owners — four dogs.
Died at shelter — one dog and one cat.
Euthanized — 14 dogs and 19 cats.
