Police Report 8-14-11; WALMART A woman was arrested after a fight in the parking lot.

ARRESTS
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Statesboro Police 
    James E. Walden, 50, Wildwood Drive – suspended license.
    Jaqueline Heyward, 58, Tremble Lane – simple battery.
    Herbert Williams, 65, Bobby Donaldson Avenue – violations related to dumping waste.
    Aujha Chenel Smith, 22, East Main Street – reckless conduct.
    April Christine Berry, 29, Lanier Drive – driving without a valid license.

Brooklet Police
    Michael Smith, 21, Buie Circle, Pembroke- battery, obstructing or hindering persons making emergency telephone calls.

INCIDENTS

    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Statesboro Police
    ROBIN HOOD TRAIL – Officers responding to a reported fight between two women who each said the other started it. They were both intoxicated and uninjured.
    WALMART – A woman was arrested after a fight in the parking lot.
    STATESBORO HERALD – Someone spray painted graffiti on the rear of the building.
    BOBBY DONALDSON AVENUE – A man was arrested after dumping a spewing propane container in a lot, causing evacuation of the area and response by the Statesboro Fire Department haz-mat team.
    SANDY WAY – A woman was arrested for leaving juvenile children unattended after police notified the Department of Family and Children.
    UNIVERSITY PINES – Someone stole a TV and mattress topper.

Brooklet Police
    Seatbelt violation – one citation.
    Speeding – four citations.
Tail light requirements – one citation.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    NEVILS DAISY ROAD – (Nevils) A woman reported a break-in attempt. Deputies noted a damaged door and a bare footprint in the sand, but found no one.
    DEKLE ROAD – (Register) A man and woman were arrested on several charges after a dispute. Their children were taken to relatives.
    BANKS DAIRY ROAD – (Statesboro) A man was arrested after a domestic dispute.
    BRANNEN ROAD - (Statesboro) A man found an unknown man on his porch who refused to leave, claiming he needed medical attention. Deputies had him taken to the hospital, where he left and went to Wal-Mart. There, he had another encounter with police and paramedics.
    MOBLEY DRIVE – (Statesboro) A man and woman argued over marital issues.
    Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports
The shelter did not generate reports on activity the week of 7-12.
