▲ OLD GROVELAND ROAD — A woman said her ex-boyfriend broke a window while beating on her home, accusing her of seeing other men.

▲ HICKORY KNOB ROAD — A man reported being threatened by multiple others.

▲ OLD RIVER ROAD NORTH — Deputies are investigating a felony theft of undisclosed items.


➤ Statesboro Police Department 

▲ PARKER’S/HIGHWAY 80 EAST — Someone broke in, shattering a glass door, and took $145 cash.

▲ WEST KENNEDY STREET — A man involved in a domestic dispute gave police incorrect information about himself and was subsequently arrested.

▲ STADIUM WALK APARTMENTS — Neighbors called police about a couple arguing. The disagreement was only verbal, reports stated.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A man said a woman shattered a glass window. No arrests were made.

▲ MARKET 100 APARTMENTS — A woman said she felt threatened by another person.

▲ SHENANIGANS — A man said several men damaged his car during an altercation, one of whom had already been served with a criminal trespass warning for the bar.

▲ PACKINGHOUSE ROAD — A person involved in a domestic dispute was arrested on charges of simple battery.

▲ NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — A subject was arrested for throwing an object at another during a dispute, causing a visible injury.

▲ SIMMONS SHOPPING CENTER — Warrants are being issued for two women who filed false reports of kidnapping and attempted rape. While talking to officers, one woman admitted it was a setup and that they had pre-planned the lies about the crimes they said the man committed.

▲ EAST MAIN STREET — A person found unconscious behind the wheel was charged with DUI/drugs after being checked by EMS.

In a separate case, a man reported someone slashed his truck tires.

▲ RUCKER LANE — A woman reported a handgun stolen from an unlocked car.

▲ NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST — A man reported someone drove a vehicle into the side of his business, causing damage.

▲ LANIER DRIVE/CHANDLER ROAD — A traffic stop for failure to dim headlights resulted in finding a man in possession of several drugs and an illegal firearm.

▲ JOHNSON STREET — A woman said her children’s father was stalking her and harassing her.

▲ CHURCH STREET — A man said he felt threatened by another.

▲ SOLOMAN CIRCLE — A man said another man threatened him, but the offender was gone when police arrived.


➤ Georgia State Patrol Post 45

▲ Last week, troopers investigated 20 crashes with one fatality and 13 reported injuries. Troopers also arrested five drivers on DUI charges and issued eight citations and three warnings for seat belt violations, one citation for child restrain violations, and 16 citations and 14 warnings for speeding.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police 

▲ Officers issued three traffic citations and 12 traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.

▲ HANNER TENNIS COURTS — Someone reported a suspicious person.

▲ WATSON PODS — Officers responded to a criminal trespass complaint.

▲ FREEDOM’S LANDING — Someone issued a drug complaint. No arrests were made.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — Someone was arrested on charges of headlights violation and no driver’s license.

Another person stopped was charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane and obstruction.
