Police report, 7/17/19
A woman called deputies because an 11-year-old boy would not stay out of her pool, in spite of being told not to do so. The complainant said she feared for his safety as well as that her dog may bite him.

▲ TWIN FORKS ROAD — A resident reported the theft of a firearm.

▲ MUD ROAD — Someone reported a man as suspicious, and deputies learned her was banned from Bulloch County. His probation officer was contacted and arrangements were made to get him to Baxley, where he was headed.

▲ ISLAND DRIVE — A woman allowed her daughter to stay with a friend during the week, and come home on weekends. The daughter did not contact the mother for two days and then refused to come home. When the mother made her come home, the daughter’s boyfriend texted her and said he would find a legal way to end the mother’s custodial rights. The mother sent an aggressive text back to him that the boyfriend took as threatening. Deputies advised them to stay away from each other.

▲ NEVILS GROVELAND ROAD — A woman reported the theft of flat screen TVs and a push lawn mower. She noticed a ladder placed against the home, and a window appeared pushed in. The suspect is a woman who had been living in the home with the complainant’s son, but since he has been incarcerated, the suspect has not paid bills. The complainant is trying to evict the suspect.

▲ OLD RIVER ROAD NORTH — A woman said a man damaged her car windshield by throwing a boot at it. The man had asked her to take him to the store, and when she got there to pick him up, he was intoxicated, she said. After talking him home they argued, and she slapped him. He retaliated by throwing the boot, reports stated. The man agreed to pay for damages.

▲ P.W. CLIFTON ROAD — A woman and her sister argued and threatened each other. One said she would have punched her sister if she didn’t “have a baby in her belly.” One woman said she was waiting on her boyfriend to make parole so they could move out of state.

▲ BURKHALTER MOBILE HOME PARK — A woman called deputies because an 11-year-old boy would not stay out of her pool, in spite of being told not to do so. The complainant said she feared for his safety as well as that her dog may bite him. The child was served with a criminal trespass warning.

▲ BURKHALTER PLANTATION — A man reported a burglary where furniture, clothes, hip waders, a poker set and other small items were missing.
