He crossed the fence and stopped a vehicle with a woman crying and a man yelling. The man had a knife, which he threw into the vehicle after deputies old him not to reach for it. When deputies tried to talk to the woman, the man talked over her, so the deputy detained the man until assistance could arrive. The woman then said the man uses meth, had been physically abusive to her in the past when he did, was on meth at the time and she feared he would attack her again.
The man told deputies he was taking his wife for a ride because they argued and she was upset. The victim was hyperventilating and frightened, but calmed down when deputies separated her from the man. She said he broke her phone when she tried calling 911. Deputies found the broken phone, and found an assortment of knives and a pistol in the vehicle. The man was taken to jail on charges of criminal trespass (family violence) and interference with an emergency phone call.
