    Xavier Daquan Simon, 17, Pecan Grove, Sylvania — theft by shoplifting.
    Marion Puckett Williams, 41, Jo Dan Road, Register — DUI/less safe, open container, following too closely, felony probation violation.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    Janice Denise Brown, 29, Kevin Deal Road — battery (family violence), criminal trespass, third-degree cruelty to children, disorderly conduct.

INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police Department
    NORTH COLLEGE STREET — A complainant reported the theft of a blue-and-green bicycle.
    JOHNSON STREET — A woman reported seeing a man peeking into her window.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A shoplifter concealed $10 worth of clothing and was arrested.
    DENMARK STREET — Someone stole a man’s wallet from a car and used a debit card to purchase $150 worth of items or services.
    OPERATION MEDICINE DROP — Police collected 7 and a half pounds of assorted prescription medications and will dispose of them in a safe manner. The program collects old, unused or obsolete medications to prevent them from being flushed and affecting the environment, or being misused by others.
    EAGLE COURT APARTMENTS — A man called police to report he punched a window and cut himself.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    MARIA SORRELL ROAD — A woman reported the theft of undisclosed items from her home and named a suspect.
    SOUTHERN HOMES — Someone called deputies to file a report about someone being stung by a wasp. The complainant told deputies she was going to seek medical help for the victim.
    HIGHWAY 25/ROCKY FORD ROAD — A FedEx truck caught fire near the rear of the truck. Portal Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire.
    KEVIN DEAL ROAD — A woman was arrested after engaging in a physical fight with a man who placed her belongings outside in an attempt to make her leave. She hit, scratched and bit him and punched a hole in the wall, witnesses said. An 11-year-old was present during the fight.
    OLD REGISTER ROAD — A man and woman argued, and the woman had his cellphone cut off. That caused more arguments and someone called deputies to intervene.
    OLLIFF HILL ROAD — Deputies responded to a home where a female entered uninvited and said she was looking for a dog. Then she grabbed a knife from the kitchen and went after another woman. Two men in the home witnessed the incident, and one escorted the offender out. The offender once lived with one of the men, reports stated, and the female victim said the offender believed she had an affair with one of the men.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued three traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.
