INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

HIGHWAY 80 WEST - An elderly woman reported receiving a call from a man claiming he was coming to her house to deliver an $18 million cash prize, as well as a new car. She reported the call as a scam.
SANDPIPER LANE - A man, angry for an unknown reason, damaged several items and walls in a home. He fled while deputies spoke with a complainant, and it was learned that he had an outstanding warrant for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. More warrants were issued for his arrest.
FRANKLIN ROAD - A trampoline, caught by strong winds, damaged two vehicles.
OLD RIVER ROAD NORTH - A man called deputies when his stepson took unknown medications and became uncontrollable and belligerent.
TEAL CIRCLE - A woman reported an offender going to her home and then calling her in a harassing manner.
HIGHWAY 46 - A man reported someone poured sugar into his lawn mower's gas tank and tractor's gas bowl.
NEVILS DAISY ROAD - A woman called deputies to arrest her juvenile daughter, who left a home at which she was supposed to be and refused to come home, insisting she wanted to go to Splash in the Boro. She cursed her mother and would not obey and was arrested.
KNOB CREEK DRIVE - Deputies responded to a home where a woman threw screws and tools into the yard, angry because a man reportedly lied about viewing pornography and felt she was cheating on him.
HIGHWAY 67/SOUTH WYNN ROAD - A deputy encountered a man whom a witness reported as climbing from a ditch. The man is a known person to law enforcement and has mental disabilities. He said he was going to Savannah, and when deputies offered to take him somewhere, he became belligerent, asking to be shot. He reached for assistance in standing, but then grabbed a deputy by the throat. The deputy reported the offender was "wrestled as gently as possible to the ground" and restrained, then taken to jail.
CEDARWOOD ACRES - A man reported the theft of two weed eaters.

Statesboro Police Department
DISH BOUTIQUE -A woman shoplifted $22 worth of clothing but was not apprehended.
EASTVIEW APARTMENTS - A man said a person he knows hit him with a bottle and his fist.
INSTITUTE STREET - A man was arrested for aggravated assault and family violence. No further details were reported.
ELM STREET - A woman asked a friend to "hold" $500 for her, and now the friend won't return the money.
BELK - One of two offenders was arrested on shoplifting charges after taking $155 worth of clothing. Warrants were taken for the second suspect, who escaped apprehension.
CARRIBBEAN FEAST - Two women were involved in a physical altercation. No arrests were made.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued no traffic citations or warnings and assisted three motorists.
