Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

PLANTER'S LANE - A man reported two game controllers and games were taken during an apparent burglary.
HIGHWAY 80 EAST - A woman refused to stop when a deputy attempted to pull her over for a faulty brake light. After several chances to stop safely, she finally did so and was arrested.
REBEKAH ROAD - A woman said her daughter was in the process of moving from a residence and returned to find windows shattered.
ROCKY FORD ROAD - A man said his wife left with the children July 8 after an argument, and he has not heard from her or the children since. The woman was located in Chatham County and told deputies they were fine. She said she left the home because she felt it was unsanitary, as well as other reasons. She said she has contacted an attorney to seek separation.
MANSFIELD ROAD - A man heard a gunshot that woke him from his sleep and later found a bullet hole in his garage door.
CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK - A vehicle reported stolen from Statesboro was recovered in the mobile home park.
PEARL LANE - A fight during a social gathering resulted in one man asking another to leave. The offender later returned with several others in order to fight some more. The offending group left before deputies arrived. The victim asked only that the offender be served with criminal trespass, although she suffered visible injuries. The offender said the initial "fight" was play-fighting gone awry. He also showed visible injuries.
OAKFIELD DRIVE - A man and his friend's parents argued, and each party said the other physically attacked them. They were referred to magistrate court.
HIGHWAY 24/MILL CREEK FOOD MART - A man tried using his credit card to pay for $9 worth of items but was told twice the card was declined. He paid cash but later discovered that the card had been charged twice for the amount.
LEEFIELD STATION - A man found a spent bullet in his home, then discovered a bullet hole. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots earlier.
SOUTHEAST BULLOCH HIGH SCHOOL - During a custody exchange, a woman became angry when another female kissed her 13-year-old daughter goodbye. The mother wiped the kiss off her daughter's face, saying it was "nasty," and a fight ensued between the adults. The incident was not school related, but the parties involved used the site to meet for custody exchange.
HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH/LANGSTON CHAPEL ROAD - A man driving a white work van almost collided with a deputy and ran a red light. After being stopped, he refused to cooperate, failed sobriety tests, became vulgar, uttered condescending remarks to the deputy and admitted to having been drinking. The deputy also found marijuana in the man's underwear. He was arrested.
METTER ROAD - A man, disheveled and covered in bruises and cuts, said his girlfriend refused to let him in the house. He said he suffered the wounds after falling off a golf cart. The woman said he was intoxicated and shoved her. She was 23 weeks pregnant and on bed rest, she said. The man agreed to leave, but as he is a convicted sex offender, deputies reminded him to register his new location with his reporting officer. He was taken to his grandparents' house on Claudia Street in Portal.

Statesboro Police Department
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - An unknown offender stole two air conditioners, a TV and a bag of dog food.
SOUTH MULBERRY STREET - A woman told police someone spray painted the side of her house.
PACKINGHOUSE ROAD - A woman said her husband threatened to kill her, and she feared for her life.
PARK PLACE APARTMENTS - Police responded to a fight among several people. The case is being reviewed by criminal investigators.
RAYMOND STEET - While responding to an argument about an unwanted person, police determined a man had outstanding warrants. When he began cursing in front of his child, he was arrested.
McDONALD'S/ARCHWAY DRIVE - An employee became "belligerent, loud and physically aggressive" while arguing with another about a comment that person made. Other employees escorted her to the parking lot, and someone called police.
CLYDE'S MARKET/FAIR ROAD - A clerk said an unknown person robbed her at gunpoint of $130.
FLASH FOODS/FAIR ROAD - A woman said a man threatened her with a knife during an argument.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued seven traffic citations and 10 traffic warnings and assisted four motorists.
