Incidents
UNIVERSITY COMMONS — Two men were arrested after being caught in the bushes behind El Sombrero. They were charged with loitering/prowling and concealing identity by wearing a mask or hood.
EAST MAIN STREET — A man dropped a 12-pack of beer and fled after being stopped for a bicycle light violation. He was found to have marijuana after he was captured, and was arrested.
GATA’S — A purse was stolen from a car and later recovered.
BROAD STREET — A man reported the theft of a laptop computer from his car.
WILBURN CIRCLE — A man said someone entered his automobile but took nothing.
JOHNSON STREET — A man said a known person stole his air conditioner.
BOBWHITE COURT — A woman reported several pieces of jewelry stolen.

Ronderick Botran Brown, 24, West Eighth Street, Waynesboro — obstruction, giving false identity information.
Fort Griffin Jr., 30, East Main Street — obstruction, giving false identity information, marijuana possession, suspended license.
John Edward Swearingain Jr., 36, Knob Creek Road, Ellabell — simple battery.

INTERSTATE 16 WESTBOUND/MILE MARKER 120 — (Statesboro) A man and woman argued and he ordered her to leave the vehicle. She sustained minor injuries as she fell from the car.
COWBOY WAY — (Portal) A woman said she bought a vehicle from a man who never produced the title.
JOSEPH’S HOME FOR BOYS — (Statesboro) A juvenile and an older teen were arrested for fighting during a basketball game.
KNOB CREEK ROAD — (Ellabell) A man was arrested after a struggle with his wife in which his son intervened and sustained minor injuries.
