STATESBORO POLICE
Arrests
    Clifford Jacob Stevens, 23, North Zetterower Avenue — probation violation.
    Brieone Cameron K. Harfoot, 23, University Place Apartments — simple assault.
    Daniel Hodges, 63, South Main Street — wanted person.
    Shandarian L. Williams, 23, Rosemary Street, Claxton — no proof of insurance, driving with suspended license, improperly transferred tag, unregistered vehicle.
    Ricky Narrell Cosey, 25, Buttermilk Road, Sylvania — headlight and taillight violations, suspended license, no proof of insurance, open container, wanted person, DUI (refused test), obstruction.

Incidents
    VARSITY LODGE APARTMENTS — Someone stole several washers, dryers and coin machines.
    EASON STREET — A woman slapped her adult daughter in the head several times because she did not call before visiting and does not visit enough.
    CAMPUS CROSSINGS — A woman reported a wallet stolen from her home.
    WALMART — A man wheeled $211 worth of beer — 12 cases — out of the store without paying — and was not caught.
    FAIR ROAD — (Shell Station) Someone stole a cellphone case and iPhone after it fell from a man’s truck hood. He traced it to a mobile home park in Portal.
    LITTLE LOTTS CREEK APARTMENTS — A woman told police she found an adult man sleeping in a bed with a 14-year-old girl in spite of there being other empty beds in the home. She found this suspicious. She also overheard the man talking in a demeaning manner toward the juvenile and felt the situation should be investigated.
    UNIVERSITY PLACE APARTMENTS — A man shot a slug through the ceiling after threatening suicide during an argument with his girlfriend, whom he accused of “doing something” he didn’t like during a pool party.
    STADIUM VIEW APARTMENTS — A juvenile told police he was not doing dishes because he did not make the mess. His adult guardian called police because of his unruly behavior.

Arrests
    Arrests will be published Wednesday.

Incidents
    HUBERT CHURCH ROAD — (Stilson) A woman reported that people who had been evicted continued trespassing on her property.
    TWIN FORKS ROAD — (Nevils) A woman said a man tried breaking into her house. She gave deputies a description of the suspect, who fled.
    STATESBORO HONDA — An unknown offender attempted to steal a 2004 Honda four-wheeler and damaged it, the security fence, and a sewer line while attempting to remove the vehicle from the property. The offender was unsuccessful and left the vehicle on the side of the building near the broken sewer line.
    BEN GRADY C OLLINS ROAD — (Portal) Someone ran into a fence, causing damages.

GEORGIA STATE PATROL POST 45
Arrests
Troopers issued one child restraint citation and 13 speeding citations and made four DUI arrests.

Incidents
    Troopers investigated nine crashes with eight reported injuries; stopped 76 vehicles, issued four seat belt warnings and a child restraint warning, issued 31 speeding warnings, performed one road check, assisted four motorists and patrolled 1,504 miles Friday through Sunday.

Arrests
    Officers issued seven traffic citations Friday, five Saturday and four Sunday.
    Davon Deandre Fenn, 21, Lanier Drive — criminal trespass.
    Byron Cunningham, 26, Lakeland Road — affray.
    Antronne Dewnoe Carlyle, 25, Pleasant Avenue — affray.
    Alexander Robert Kramer, 21, Lanier Drive —  DUI and failure to maintain lane.
    Brian Coleman Ezell, 19, River Oak Way, Phenix City, Ala. —  underage possession of alcohol and possession of a false ID.
    Alexander M. Johnson, 21, Statesboro Place Circle — DUI, too fast for conditions and excessive noise violation.
    Lakeisa L. Washington, 20, East Olliff Street — driving with suspended license and failure to obey a traffic control device.
 
Incidents
    FRIDAY — Officers issued two traffic warnings, assisted seven motorists, responded to two sick-person calls, responded to a suspicious-person report at the Henderson Library, responded to one alarm at the Botanical Gardens and investigated one accident.
    SATURDAY — Officers issued two traffic warnings.
    SUNDAY — Officers issued two traffic warnings, responded to five alarms and investigated one accident.
    CENTER FOR THE ARTS — A computer was stolen.
    UNIVERSITY PARK — A window was shattered.
    UNIVERSITY POINTE APARTMENTS — Officers assisted the Statesboro Police Department with a report of fireworks or gunshots fired. Upon arrival, two males were observed fighting in the parking lot. One subject advised that the other subject had pointed a firearm at him. The weapon was found in the parking lot. The incident is still under investigation. Two subjects were arrested and charged with affray (fighting).
