INCIDENTS

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ KING ARTHUR DRIVE — A man said three firearms were stolen from a vehicle. The offender left a piece of clothing behind as well, he said.

Another resident at a different address reported two guns taken from vehicles.

▲ HARVILLE ROAD — A woman said a man slapped her during an argument, but the man denied touching her. The woman agreed to leave the home.

▲ WEXFORD LANE — Someone reported an entering auto incident. Reports listed nothing taken.


➤ Statesboro Police Department 

▲ JONES MILL ROAD — Juveniles were reported to the Department of Juvenile Justice after being caught taking items from an unlocked car.

▲ SALLIE ZETTEROWER ELEMENTARY — Police responding to an unruly juvenile call determined a child needed additional medical care. The call was listed as simple battery against a school employee.

▲ EL SOMBRERO/BUCKHEAD DRIVE — A man was arrested for not paying for a meal.

▲ ARCHWAY DRIVE — A woman reported money stolen from her purse.

▲ COLLEGE PLAZA — A woman reported the theft of a ring from her locker at a gym.

▲ JOHNSON STREET — Police responded to a verbal argument.


➤ Georgia State Patrol Post 45

▲ Last week, troopers responded to 20 crashes with nine reported injuries. 

▲ Troopers also arrested 17 drivers on DUI charges and issued 15 citations and seven warnings for seatbelt violations, one citation for child restraint violations, and 26 citations and 28 warnings for speeding.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police 

▲ Officers issued two traffic citations and four traffic warnings and assisted seven motorists.

▲ FACILITIES SERVICES — Police responded to a civil matter.

▲ VARIOUS LOCATIONS — Someone reported receiving harassing communications.

▲ EAGLE VILLAGE — Someone made a drug complaint. No one was charged or judicially referred.

▲ PAULSON STADIUM — Officers investigated a suspicious person.

▲ SOUTHERN PINES — Police responded to a drug complaint, with no arrest or action taken.

In another call, someone reported a domestic dispute.

A third call dealt with financial transaction card fraud.

▲ SOUTHERN COURTYARD — Someone was arrested on drug possession charges.
