    THE COVE — A woman reported that she and five other people were standing on her balcony when a man fired one shot at her and hit the front door of her apartment, grazing two of her guests. Officers identified a suspect but reported he was gone when they arrived. They turned the case over to the Detective Section.
    THE CONNECTION AT STATESBORO — A woman reported that someone vandalized her car’s interior overnight. The armrest, rearview mirror and dash were damaged and a bottle of air freshener poured on the seat.
    STATESBORO REGIONAL LIBRARY — A bicycle, with white handlebars and black-and-white lettering, was reported stolen.
    NORTH COLLEGE STREET — Two child’s scooters and one bicycle were reported stolen from the front and back porches of a home.
    STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE — A man reported that he and his girlfriend had an argument about a missing cellphone.
    HARVEY DRIVE — An officer responding to a domestic dispute interviewed a man who told them he and his girlfriend argued after his other girlfriend showed up.
    Marcelus Julian Williams, 23, Bird Lane — driving while license suspended or revoked.
    Antoinette Tantanish Heflin, 23, Tussahaw Crossing, McDonough, Ga. — theft by deception.
    Laterria Shawanna Alice Mincey, 27, Cobbtown Road, Lyons — probation violation.
    Jasmine Lamarshae’ Petty, 20, Vintage Court, Athens — obstruction of an officer.
    Erin Jennae Smith, 19, Indian Forest, Atlanta — shoplifting (misdemeanor).
    Tammy Lynn Waynick, 50, Shimley Drive — shoplifting (misdemeanor).

    JACKSON MOBILE HOME PARK — A woman reported that she and her boyfriend got into an argument that turned physical when he got angry about her losing a money bag that contained her tips from work. Deputies obtained warrants for multiple charges against the man, who wasn’t there when they arrived.
    U.S. HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH — In what a witness described as a “tug of war” over a phone, a woman reported that her boyfriend snatched the device away and threw it into the yard during an argument over a text message.
    BULLOCH COUNTY — A resident reported receiving a suspicious call from someone purporting to be from the District Attorney’s office who sought to obtain or confirm her date of birth.
Another resident reported getting a phone call from someone purporting to represent Verizon who asked for personal info. After hearing details, the deputy listed it as potential identity fraud and advised the resident to contact her financial institutions.
Another resident reported receiving phone calls she perceived as threatening from someone she didn’t know.
    SHERIFF’S OFFICE — A man reported he has been received threatening phone messages from another man as part of an ongoing dispute. Complainant showed examples of the messages to a deputy, who advised him of the warrant process.

    Officers issued one traffic citation and one traffic warning and assisted four motorists Wednesday. An incident report was taken for found property at Watson Commons.
