Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    PAUL SMITH ROAD — A man reported the theft of a handgun.
    OLD HAPPY ROAD — A woman said her juvenile daughter was almost run over by a bus driver after she exited the bus. She walked in front of the bus and the driver, whom she said was holding a piece of paper and was possibly distracted, accelerated and did not stop, causing the girl to have to jump back to avoid being struck.
    GATOR ROAD — A woman said a man drove through her backyard and told her that her husband and his brother were having an affair in the backyard with the offender’s ex-wife.
    SANDPIPER DRIVE — Two women argued and tussled, with one striking the other in the chest with a can.

Statesboro Police Department
    SUPER EIGHT MOTEL — Detectives conducted a drug investigation and arrested one person on marijuana sales, distribution, purchase or manufacture charges.
    FAIR ROAD — A person who failed to stay in the proper lane was stopped by an officer and charged with DUI.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued no traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted one motorist.
    RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — Police responded to a reported theft.
