BELLA TERRA ROAD - A man saw on a security camera that another man was trying to break into one of his shops. He got his gun, fired a shot and told the offender to come out or the next round would be in his buttocks. The offender came out and stayed, waiting for deputies, even after the property owner put away his gun. The offender, who admitted to having smoked meth earlier, was charged with criminal trespass.
DAKOTA LANE - A man said someone took a handgun from his vehicle.
HOLLAND ROAD - A man reported the theft of a handgun from his ATV.
NORTH TAYLOR COURT - Two women argued after one woman's dog reportedly bit the other woman's child. Deputies were asked to assist animal control in handling the issue.
WALDEN WAY - Deputies responded to a domestic dispute over living arrangements.
EDENFIELD LANE - A man and woman argued because she said she was outside and he said she knocked his beer off the fence.

SOUTH MULBERRY STREET - A man was arrested on simple battery charges regarding involvement in a domestic dispute.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued one traffic citation and 11 traffic warnings and assisted five motorists.
