Incidents
THE ISLANDS — A man suspected of knocking on his former girlfriend's window was charged with loitering and prowling as well as public intoxication. The woman had a restraining order against him.
WILBURN CIRCLE — A woman said she bought a dress from a company, has received several excuses why it was not shipped and has not received a refund.
BEASLEY ROAD — A woman reported the theft of a green 2002 Toyota Corolla.
EAST JONES AVENUE — A woman caught a man trying to break into her home. He fled when she saw him.
STATESBORO REGIONAL LIBRARY — A man went inside, stayed 10 minutes and returned outside to find his bike stolen from the bike rack.
BIG HEAD BARBER SHOP — A woman reported the theft of a purse from her car.
WEST MAIN STREET — A purse was reported stolen from an unlocked car.
CORE CREDIT UNION — A woman said someone stole two GPS units from her car.
MATTHEWS ROAD —Witness saw a man steal a phone from a home.

Fany Aubrey Mentonou, 23, Lee Street, Brunswick — theft by deception, theft by receiving stolen property, wanted person.
Tyrell Jackson Peters, 19, Chandler Road — disorderly conduct.
Shaquauvia Monique Porter, 19, Chandler Road — disorderly conduct.
Tony Singleton, 18, Davis Street, Sylvania — probation violation.
Charles Henry Lark, 56, Sandalwood Drive — reckless conduct, simple assault, discharging a firearm while under the influence of drugs and alcohol, wanted person.
William Joseph Mims, 25, 58th Street, Savannah — probation violation.

EMIT DEAL ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said her estranged husband came to her home, held her in her bedroom, pushed her onto the bed and held his arm against her neck.
EAST GEORGIA STATE COLLEGE — Two students were arrested for fighting over a cellphone.
SHUMAN DRIVE — (Statesboro) A man asked for deputies' help because a woman refused to give him property and dogs he left at her residence when he moved out. The woman claimed he owed her for dog food, shots and other care. She allowed him to take furniture and two adult dogs as well as three pups, and she kept an adult dog and two pups.
BLACK CREEK CHURCH ROAD — (Brooklet) Someone set an old shed on fire and shot windows out of an old abandoned home.
SANDALWOOD CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A man admitted having drunk a pint of liquor and firing a shot in the air during an argument with people on his property he wanted to leave. He was arrested.
DAN WATERS LANE — (Statesboro) A man and woman argued over where to put oyster shells after a party. The woman had come home intoxicated and argumentative, and threatened to call the law and claim the man struck her, according to reports. She left and the man called deputies explaining the situation. The woman was found at a friend's house, still intoxicated. She was not cooperative with deputies and did not show visible injuries.

Arrests
Between Friday and Sunday, troopers issued one seat belt citation, one child restraint citation and 10 speeding citations.
Incidents
Between Friday and Sunday, troopers worked 16 crashes, with one fatality and five injuries. Troopers stopped 60 vehicles, patrolled 1,661 miles, issued eight seat belt warnings and 22 speeding warnings, assisted four motorists and conducted four security details.
