INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police Department
    GEORGIA AVENUE — Two women were arrested on public intoxication charges after breaking a fence.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A woman made a fraudulent return and used a portion of the value placed on a gift card to spend $75. The customer was identified, and store managers were advised on magistrate procedures.
    MORRIS HEIGHTS APARTMENTS —A woman said a man struck, choked and threatened her. She showed no visible injuries and was given advice on seeking warrants.
    ZETTEROWER ROAD — A woman said her brother struck her in the face during an argument about groceries.
    WEST GENTILLY ROAD — People found responsible for littering with glass bottles were cited for littering and made to clean up the mess.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A woman was arrested for shoplifting a $10 DVD and for having marijuana on her person at the time.
    SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — A man told officers his ex-wife attacked him with a screwdriver. The case is under review by the criminal investigations division.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    SOUTHWELL LANE — A man told deputies that a car occupied by two men and two women came onto his property, and an altercation ensued before they left. He identified one man involved.
    CHAMPION BOULEVARD — A man reported the theft of several fishing rods and reels.
    HIGHWAY 80 WEST — A woman said she broke up with a man, and when she went to retrieve her belongings from his house, he threatened her. He continues to call her, she said. The man told deputies that he was holding items from the woman until money owed to him was paid.
    BURKHALTER ROAD — A woman said she argued with her husband about his drinking, and he grabbed her by the throat. He was gone when deputies arrived.
    HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH/GATEWAY INDUSTRIAL PARK — A car that was stopped for speeding was driven by a man wanted in Bulloch County on felony burglary charges. He was arrested.
    EDENFIELD LANE — A woman said her husband's ex- girlfriend harassed her by phone and accused her of sexually molesting her grandchildren. The other woman told deputies that she and the complainant have been harassing each other by phone for days because the complainant found out her husband had been "talking to" the ex-girlfriend.
    ELDORA ROAD — A woman, who admitted being angry at a man after a fight about his finding pills on her person, also admitted breaking household items and striking the man in the arm with some PVC cutters, causing injury. She was arrested.
    VETERAN'S MEMORIAL PARKWAY/HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH — A deputy stopped a car with an obscured tag after learning the car was owned by someone with outstanding warrants. A woman was charged with wanted person, and a man had three outstanding warrants. He was charged with obstruction, marijuana possession, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, aggravated assault and criminal trespass.
    MARTIN SWINSON ROAD — A woman was arrested after deputies, responding to a domestic dispute and an interrupted 911 call, saw a woman being aggressive toward her mother, who appeared afraid. The daughter fought arrest and kicked a deputy several times as she was forced into the patrol car. The mother then stated that the daughter had struck her. Deputies noted bruises on her face.
    DOY NEWTON'S MOBILE HOME PARK/KYLE SORRELL ROAD — A woman called deputies to report her and her son's drug abuse. She said she had smoked crack and taken pills. When deputies arrived, she was smoking a cigarette and drinking a beer and said she wanted to be taken to a hospital for treatment.

OLD RIVER ROAD SOUTH — Deputies received a call from a woman in New York who claimed a couple living in this road threatened her by phone and said they were coming to New York to harm her. Deputies located the couple, who were asleep in bed and denied ever calling the complainant, who is the man’s ex-wife.
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — Hospital authorities notified deputies and investigators that a man was trying to give a patient in the intensive care unit a pill to assist in her death. In previous reports, the man argued with EMTs at his home when they tried to perform CPR on the patient, his wife. The case in under investigation.
    WESTBROOKE COURT — A man said he was jumped by several men in a bathroom, an incident that stemmed from an ongoing dispute between him and another man.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued three traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted five motorists.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
    Friday through Sunday, troopers investigated 14 crashes with eight reported injuries and no fatalities and issued four DUI arrests, 20 seat belt citations and five seat belt warnings; one child restraint citation and two child restraint warnings and 18 speeding tickets and 33 speeding warnings.
