INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    NATURE WAY — A woman called about her unruly juvenile granddaughter, who ignored commands and refused to go to school. The girl ignored the deputy who responded, refused orders to get off her phone, and pushed the deputy when he tried to engage her attention. She fought him violently when he arrested her as well. She was subdued and taken to jail.
    BUCK HENDRIX ROAD — A man who leased property for baling pine straw reported suspected arson. Baled straw was burned, as well as raked pine straw and trees, and two pitch forks.
    THE STORE AT REGISTER — A man was arguing with a woman when he kicked a glass door, shattering it. The act was caught on video and the store owner told deputies they wished to prosecute.

Statesboro Police Department
    EAST JONES AVENUE — A man was arrested after punching holes in a wall, breaking a mirror and throwing a woman’s phone, smashing it.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A woman said someone broke into her car in the parking lot and stole $30 cash and a cellphone.
    HERITAGE INN — Officers responded to a call about a resident complaining about mistreatment by a staff member.
    BELK — A woman was arrested for felony shoplifting after she was caught taking $208 worth of shoes, $345 worth of clothing and perfume valued at $166. She also had a prescription drug in her purse that was not in the original container.
    FOOD WORLD — A woman was arrested for shoplifting $372 in food, and had other stolen items on her person.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued two traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted five motorists.
