STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Maridith Dennise Whitehead, 40, Harvey Drive — DUI, failure to maintain lane, stop sign violation.
    Carla Faye Jones, 57, Williams Road, Pembroke — wanted person.
    Johnny Ivory Scarver III, 22, Robin Hood Trail — theft by deception, obstruction, giving false information, criminal trespass.

Incidents
    BULLOCH COUNTY COURTHOUSE — Four large wreaths and several small Confederate flags have been stolen from the Confederate monument. Sons of Confederate Veterans, the group that maintains the monument, told police they would continue to monitor the statue and report any further crimes.
    WALGREEN’S — A man said someone stole 20 CDs and DVDs from his car.
    HARVEY’S — (Fair Road) A woman reported a purse stolen from her car.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests
    Robert Raymond Highers, 31, Hidden Cove Road, Dahlonega — probation violation.
    Derevia Victoria Reese, 21, Georgia Avenue — felony theft by deception, negotiating fraudulent checks.

Incidents
    PAMELA WAY — (Statesboro) A woman reported someone put sugar in her gas tank, and deputies took photographs of the evidence.
In a separate case, a woman said a man punched a hole in her wall and smashed her TV with his fist.
    CEDARWOOD ACRES — (Register) A man said his girlfriend’s ex-husband struck him several times, cutting his eye.
    CANTERBERRY PLACE — (Statesboro) A woman reported several jewelry pieces stolen.
    FIRST DOWN COURT — (Statesboro) A man reported damage to a vehicle and home by what appeared to be BB gun pellets.
    MAY ROAD — (Ellabell) Deputies responded to a reported fight in which a woman was cut on the mouth by a plastic cup that was thrown.

    KENNEDY HALL - Officers responded to multiple panic alarms going off caused by a malfunction.
    MARVIN PITTMAN ADMINISTRATION BUILDING — Officers responded to an alarm caused by high temperatures in an electrical room.
    SOUTHERN COURTYARD — Someone reported the theft of a bicycle.
