Statesboro Police Arrests

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests

Sharon Denise Pinkney, 36, Cotton Avenue – sale of cocaine.

Scott Bradley Martin, 47, U.S. 80 West – disorderly conduct.

Jewel Italy Jackson, 18, Raccoon Key Drive, Ellabell – simple battery (family violence).  

 

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

DUI arrests –  none.

Seatbelt citations – one.

Child restraint citations  - none.

Speeding citations – one.

Total citations – four.

Georgia Southern University Arrests

Adam Jeremiah Blades, 19, Watson Hall - disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer.
Tracy Lynch III, 19, Watson Hall - disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer.

Officers issue one traffic violation citation Monday.

Statesboro Police Incidents

Due to computer issues, reports were unavailable Tuesday. The following incidents occurred over the weekend:

MILLER STREET – A limb fell on a car, causing major damage.

NEIGHBOR’S EXXON – A man shoplifted a “Tilt” alcoholic beverage.

CRACKER BARREL – A woman reported medications stolen from her purse in the employee break room.

PARK PLACE APARTMENTS – A stolen shotgun was found in a car that was abandoned by an overdue motorist. Police were alerted by an anonymous caller about the car’s whereabouts.

UNIVESITY PLAZA – A man suffered an eye injury after being struck in the face by an unnamed person. He spoke to police while being treated at the hospital.

EAGLE CREEK TOWNHOUSES – A person reported a window shattered and $200 stolen.

CLYDE’S MARKET #37/FAIR ROAD – A man wanted to buy a case of Natural Light after midnight. When the clerk pointed out that she could not legally sell him the beer, he threw down $22 for the beer that cost around $14 and left.

 

 

Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents

U.S. 80 EAST – (Statesboro) A woman reported someone flattened all four of her tires, and suspected her baby’s father did it.

DAN WATERS LANE – (Statesboro) A woman placed her rings in a glass while washing dishes. After a meal, a friend of a relative helped cleanup and the rings disappeared. The suspect claimed he never saw the rings, but a relative said the suspect asked for a ride to several pawn shops in the area after the rings went missing.

GRIMSHAW LANE – (Brooklet) A man reported a PlayStation unit stolen.

PULASKI ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of an Egyptian 9 mm handgun and $40 after someone broke in through his back door.

Georgia Southern University Incidents

Officers issued two traffic warnings, assisted three motorists, assisted two sick persons, responded to three alarms and investigated one accident.
 HANNER FIELDHOUSE – Someone spray painted graffiti on a fence near the tennis courts.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Department-17 calls.

Statesboro Police Department- 23 calls.

University Police Department –no calls.

Georgia State Patrol – four calls.

Candler County Sheriff's Department – 16 calls.

Evans County Sheriff's Department –one call.

Claxton Police Department – no calls.

 

911 Fire Department Reports

Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Monday:

Statesboro Fire Department – one call.

Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters –no calls.

Metter Fire Department – one call.

 

911 EMS Reports

Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Monday:

Bulloch County EMS –three accident calls and 14 medical calls.

Candler County EMS – one accident call and five medical calls.

Evans County EMS – five medical calls.

Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls  Monday: seven calls to Bulloch County First Responders, a call to Georgia Forestry, and three miscellaneous calls.
