Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

MARIA SORRELL ROAD - A man gave fence posts to a woman, but his son protested the action and asked that the woman return them. She did.
HIGHWAY 80 EAST - A resident reported the theft of a utility trailer.
PECAN GROVE CIRCLE - A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and simple assault after a disturbance was reported.
OLD HAPPY ROAD - A man said someone cut a chain and stole a trailer from his shelter.
MIKE AKINS ROAD - A woman said her ex-boyfriend took her car key and left on foot.
FLOWERS ROAD - Deputies responded to a reported fight between a woman and her sister-in-law. One woman said the other tried to burn her with a hot pan and then strike her. The other woman said she was throwing some burned food out and the first woman kicked her.
BURKHALTER MOBILE HOME PARK - A woman called deputies because she received second-hand information that a man known as "Toot" was threatening to harm her.
SUMMERSIDE ROAD - A woman told deputies that she had a meeting with her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend, but the other woman started yelling and screamed obscenities after becoming irate.
HIGHWAY 301/BRANNEN STREET - A runaway juvenile from Screven County, driving a vehicle while unlicensed, was involved in a hit-and-run.
BIRD ROAD - A woman told deputies that a man grabbed her and pulled her into his room when she got out of a shower. She was fully clothed, but he touched her inappropriately, she said. She locked herself in her own room, and when she heard him try to get in, she shattered a window and cut her hand. Investigators questioned the man and others at the home, all of whom denied the incident occurred and said the woman had left the house, angry, after a conversation. The accused man was very intoxicated, reports stated.
HIGHWAY 119 NORTH - Deputies responded to a fight between two men and two women in which pushing and shoving occurred.
REMINGTON WAY - A woman said her husband pushed her and grabbed her face during a discussion about divorce.
MARTIN LANER ROAD - A woman said her boyfriend became angry that another man gave her a ride home from court, and he broke her phone before hitting and shoving her.

Statesboro Police Department
WEST MAIN STREET - Officers helped Bulloch County sheriff's deputies locate a juvenile child who had been left behind by his mother at a convenience store. The child was found safe at a nearby business.
NORTH FOSS STREET - A woman said a man shattered her car window.
UNIVERSITY PLAZA - A bouncer at a bar restrained a patron for disruptive behavior. The offender was still fighting the bouncer's restraint when police arrived and was very intoxicated. The offender was arrested.
THE GROVE APARTMENTS - A woman said a known offender placed an unwanted item on her welcome mat.
BELK - Two women were arrested for shoplifting a $36 purse.
STAMBUK LANE - A person who was found asleep outside someone's apartment door was arrested for public intoxication.
BULLOCH STREET - Several offenders were arrested and one victim taken to the hospital after a reported fight.
LESTER ROAD - A person showed police a message from another person, threatening harm.
STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE - Police responded to reports of shots fired and arrested one person.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Between March 19-26, troopers investigated 19 crashes with 12 reported injuries. That same week, they arrested seven for DUI and issued eight citations and four warnings for seatbelt violations and five citations and 30 warnings for speeding.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued 20 traffic citations and 16 traffic warnings and assisted four motorists.
