INCIDENT REPORTS
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
FRANKLIN LANE — A woman reported an attempt to scam her by a person pretending to be a computer repair person. The caller said she had purchased a protection plan for her computer and asked to get her personal log-in information, then used the information to try to get money from her bank account. They succeeded in getting $1,500 but the bank covered it when she reported the scam, she said.
PERSIMMON PATH — A woman told deputies her roommates’ family harasses her and threatens her, to the point she felt unsafe.
STILSON-LEEFIELD ROAD — A man told deputies another man used his tractors without permission, getting them stuck in the woods and in a field.
HIGHWAY 67 — A case of arson is being investigated. No further details were available from reports.
Statesboro Police Department
HALCYONDALE ROAD/SCREVEN COUNTY — Statesboro Police K9 unit Officer Kyle Briley and K9 partner Rio assisted in a school safety search.
DUNLAP STREET — A man struck a victim in the chest with his fist. No arrests were made.
Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued two traffic citations and seven traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.
Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Last week, troopers investigated 24 crashes with 15 reported injuries. Troopers also issued the following; three DUI arrests, 16 seat belt citations and one warning, one child restraint warning, 15 speeding citations and 17 warnings.
